Full Blossom Behavioral Health Consultants, LLC

Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Full Blossom Behavioral Health Consultants, LLC ("Full Blossom," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions document outlines how we collect, use, protect, and disclose your personal information when you use our services. By engaging with Full Blossom, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. About Our Services

At Full Blossom, we strive to offer a positive, empowering, and life-enriching experience for our clients. The potential benefits of counseling include improved functioning, relationships, self-image, mood, and the attainment of personal goals. However, clients should understand that healing and growth can be challenging, and discomfort may be a natural part of the counseling process. In rare cases, clients may feel worse before improvements are seen.

3. Confidentiality and Privacy

3.1 Confidentiality Practices

Your confidentiality and privacy are of utmost importance to us. Full Blossom complies with HIPAA privacy rules as a "covered entity." You received our full Notice of Privacy Practices in your email confirmation.

3.2 Information Disclosure

All communications and records with your counselor are strictly confidential. Information will only be released under the following circumstances, in accordance with state law:

  • With written consent from the client.
  • If the client expresses a serious intent to harm themselves or someone else.
  • In cases of reasonable suspicion of abuse against a minor, elderly person, or dependent adult.
  • For billing purposes.
  • If required by a subpoena or court order.

For couple, family, or group treatment, information will not be disclosed without written authorization from each competent individual involved, in accordance with Section 2.2 of the AAMFT Code of Ethics.

4. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide appropriate treatment interventions:

  • Demographic Information
  • Mental Health, Medical, and Social Histories
  • Academic and Substance Abuse Histories
  • Legal Histories
  • Email addresses, mailing addresses, and mobile phone numbers (collected via website contact forms, email, rental agreements, or third-party reservation systems)

Third parties, such as hospitals, other mental health providers, or legal entities, may be involved when necessary. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties.

5. Data Usage, Security, and Retention

  • Data Usage: We use your data solely for sending updates, appointment reminders, and necessary communications related to our services.
  • Data Security: We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our services. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Electronic Communication & Online Counseling

6.1 Use of Technology

We communicate via telephone, email, and videoconference. These are not encrypted methods, and some confidentiality risks may exist. If you prefer not to be contacted via these methods, please inform your counselor, and we will respect your preferences.

6.2 Distance Counseling

Distance counseling services follow the laws and ethical codes of the counselor’s state of licensure. While distance counseling has shown effectiveness, it is a newer modality compared to traditional in-person counseling.

7. SMS Messaging Policy

You agree to receive informational messages from Full Blossom Behavioral Health Consultants, LLC. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or email us at info@fullblossombhc.com. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

  • Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan.
  • Recurring Messages: Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies.
  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of SMS lists at any time by texting, emailing, or replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to info@fullblossombhc.com or 678-208-3144. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS confirming you have been unsubscribed, and we will remove your number within 24 hours.

8. Scheduling and Cancellations

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) will incur a $99 fee, which insurance does not cover. This policy is strictly enforced.

9. Conflicts and Dispute Resolution

In the event of a conflict, parties agree to first negotiate directly. If unresolved, mediation will be pursued. Litigation is a last resort after good-faith efforts at negotiation and mediation.

10. Emergency Contacts

Your counselor will establish emergency contacts, such as a family member or work number. These may be used if deemed necessary. In a crisis, if your counselor is unavailable, please contact your nearest emergency room.

11. Service Fees and Payments
